Join Meredith Nemirov, as she takes students on this once-in-a-lifetime plein air experience. Students will travel to the High Camp Hut, a rustic cabin in the back country of the San Juan Mountains near Telluride, CO. The cabin sits on the edge of a high alpine meadow with views of Sheep Mountain and San Miguel Peak, with distant views of Wilson, El Diente and Lizard Head Peak. High Camp is located in one of the most beautiful spots in Colorado. Spend four full days painting, reflecting, journaling, and hiking in the high alpine meadows of Colorado’s backcountry. At night, relax in the wood-burning sauna and enjoy one of the most uninterrupted views of the night sky in the entire United States.
Ah Haa’s Mixed Bag: A Little Bit of Everything

For this class the Ah Haa has gathered premier instructors together for a multi-faceted art retreat. Spend one day with each of our premier artists: Potter Goedele Vanhille will teach students to throw on the wheel; Anjali Sawant will help students to work with collage art and pastels; Buff Hooper will instruct more traditional still life and nature painting with acrylics; while Robert Weatherford will help students unlock their inner artist with his popular “Painting from Within” sessions.
