Learn the basics of the layout and design program, Adobe InDesign, to create newsletters, posters, brochures and other print media. Particularly geared toward those with some previous experience with other graphics programs, such as Pagemaker and Quark, this class will teach students how to navigate in InDesign while working with color, objects, texts and images. After working as a class to design a poster during the first class, students will work on a piece on their own. The second evening will be devoted to tips and troubleshooting. (This class was rescheduled from Dec. 2 & 3.)
Some previous experience with a computer graphics program is recommended. Plan to bring your laptop computer with a trial version of Adobe InDesign already installed.
