Whether its an exhibition which allows you to contribute your ideas, a wonderful evening of wine and food tasting, a favorite class at the Ah Haa School, an exhilarating live art auction, a talk with a visiting artist, Ah Haa welcomes you to each of our unique events throughout the year.
Within the mission of the Ah Haa School, we seek to provide opportunities to artists of all ages and backgrounds to grow as artists, work in collaboration, and show and sell artwork. We have two indoor exhibition spaces, the Daniel Tucker Gallery and East Room Gallery, as well as a large deck on the river, prime for exhibiting outdoor sculpture. Ah Haa’s galleries display the works of both developing and established artists, local artists and inspiring artists outside of our community.
Artists are selected by invitation, through specific calls for entry and through juried applications. Please see the link below to download and submit an application. The Ah Haa School has attracted many prominent artists and art professionals who have served as instructors and visiting artists; among them, Julie McNair, Meredith Nemirov, Kelvyn Davila and many more.
Through this vital, exciting, and ever-changing program, visual artists have the opportunity to exhibit their work. As a result, area artists and the public are able to view the most current work from the region and beyond, and artists are encouraged to share their artistic achievements and sell their work.

Summer 2009
Now in its 18th year, Ah Haa’s annual fundraiser is the must attend summer event. Each summer, art lovers and community members support the Ah Haa School by bidding on a wide range of artwork created by artists from throughout the area and around the country. More than 100 artworks and myriad services and excursions donated by the region’s artists, business and supporters of the school are auctioned in live and silent auctions. Many of the pieces on the auction block have been specifically made for the event by the community’s talented artists, and you’ll find just as many treasures donated to the silent auction. The evening consists of an energy-charged live and silent auction, putting the fun in fundraiser!
The Ah Haa Art Auction is as much spectacle as fundraiser and this past year was no exception. The theme, Celebrate Art | Be The Artist You Want To Be, inspired Warhol and Frida look a likes and many other fun and outrageous costumes. The live auction featured an over 15 original pieces from local and regional artists and an electric ART car. The Ah Haa was honored to have Susan Saint James as our Celebrity Artist. Susan worked closely with local artist Robert Weatherford to produce three powerful, vibrant and emotionally charged mixed media pieces. Two that were the stars of our live auction. Stay tuned for the announcement and date of next year auction!
