Within the mission of the Ah Haa School, we seek to provide opportunities to artists of all ages and backgrounds to grow as artists, work in collaboration and show and sell artwork. We have two indoor exhibition spaces, the Daniel Tucker Gallery and East Room Gallery, as well as a large deck on the river that is prime for exhibiting outdoor sculpture. Ah Haa’s galleries display the works of both developing and established artists, local artists and inspiring artists outside of our community.

Artists are selected by invitation, through specific calls for entry and through juried applications. Please see the links to the right to download our policies and an application. The Ah Haa School has attracted many prominent artists and art professionals who have served as instructors and visiting artists; among them, Julie McNair, Meredith Nemirov, Ron Patterson and more.

Oil on Canvas

Viewing Colorado from border to border, I experience many emotions: fear and joy of its awesome mountains, roads that drop off l000 feet, rivers, meadows, flowers and lakes. An indescribable exhilaration takes hold of me and I express it with long powerful strokes of my brush, which go from the mountains and crash into the valleys. And with a soft brush stroke, I capture the stillness of its lakes, their reflections and calmness, the Colorado color of its autumn, spring green valleys and snow-capped winter mountains.
