From character development to improv, get an edge on your acting skills during this one-day workshop intensive with “The Hateful Eight” supporting castmember Keith Jefferson.
“The Hateful Eight” supporting cast member Keith Jefferson is making his return and bringing his professional acting, singing, dancing and voice over skills to this intense one-day workshop for adults. This year participants will receive hands-on training for motion picture, which will include acting for the camera and camera technique, as well as covering training for the theatre through character development, objectives, improv, and acting exercises. Keith will also cover audition preparation, intention work for the actor, cold reading, and ways to break into film and TV; market ones self as an actor; and get an edge on the competition. You don’t want to miss this year’s workshop and its new and exciting methods.
With a BFA in musical theatre and an MFA in acting, Keith Jefferson has an extensive performance background in film, TV and live theatre. He has worked alongside such acting greats as Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Lansbury, Taraji P. Henson, and Danny Glover, and under award-winning directors Quentin Tarantino, Hebert Ross, and Charles Haid, among others. After working on The Hateful Eight in 2015, Keith worked on The Temple directed by Scott Spiegel. This 2018 year you can see Keith in the film All-Star Weekend, starring Jamie Foxx, Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Piven, Gerard Butler, Benicio Del Toro and Eva Longoria. Later this year Keith is set to star in an untitled project for Amazon. Drawing from his extensive experience teaching similar workshops around the country, Keith leads his students on a road of artistic discovery.
