Jen Mann’s studies in ecology and botany began at Northern Arizona University and in 1990 she continued her education in these fields at Western State College in Gunnison, CO. Mann received her degree in Environmental Ecology and Botany from WSC in 1995. In 2003, Mann started her business Grassroots Landscape Design, LLC. While her little maintenance business grew, she embarked upon design courses and in 2008 I graduated from the Anna Gresham School of Landscape Design, after completing the comprehensive three-year course in design and CAD.
Mann’s husband Tom, and their two girls Aven and Abigail, are her most favorite distractions and together they love to rock climb, bike ride, swim, and just simply play in the outdoors. On her own, Mann is an avid and somewhat obsessed mountain trail runner, a knitter, a reader, and a learner of all things landscape design.
