A NEW HOME FOR CREATIVE EXPLORATION
Ah Haa School for the Arts celebrates a summer of creativity and curiosity as we move into our new home at the Silver Jack Building in downtown’s Arts District in July 2021. Telluride’s new arts hub is a 10,000 square-foot, purpose-built community center with enhanced studios and thoughtfully designed classrooms that will spark expanded opportunities for participation.
For over 30 years, Ah Haa School for the Arts has been inspiring people of all ages to discover, nurture and celebrate their creative possibilities. Ah Haa is also home to the prestigious American Academy of Bookbinding located at the historic Stone Building on North Willow Street.
As Ah Haa School for the Arts embarks on its big move into the new Silver Jack Building in downtown Telluride, we look forward to announcing an exciting array of classes and workshops for youth, teens and adults. Our goal is to begin offering classes the second week in July, but this is entirely dependent on when we are able to move in and set up our new facility.
Classes for youth ages 6-8 and 9-12 will run Monday through Friday, with morning sessions scheduled for 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and afternoon sessions running 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. In accordance with Ah Haa's COVID-19 safety protocols, class sizes will be kept small and mask wearing will be required. Information and registration for these classes will be available in mid-May, as soon as we can confirm our Silver Jack move-in date.
Similarly, classes for adults will begin in July, with information and registration becoming available in mid-May. A selection of teen classes will also be available, as well as some set private class options.
In the meantime, please keep checking our website for the most up to date information on all things Ah Haa, including a number of opportunities to help us celebrate Ah Haa’s reopening and 30 year anniversary. We look forward to seeing you soon!
