Instructor Evaluation/Follow up
For Ah Haa instructors to use to evaluate Ah Haa once the class is completed.
Summer interns are an important part of the Ah Haa team and gain hands-on experience assisting with our summer art programs and special events. Interns will have direct contact with students and instructors over a ten-week period, helping with classes such as ceramics, painting, drawing and mixed media, while gaining valuable experience in kids art education, fundraising, and nonprofit operations. Outside of work hours, interns have the opportunity to pursue their own personal study in art, with 24-hour access to Ah Haa’s studios.
All interns are expected to arrive on Thursday, May 28th, and stay for the entire ten- week session. Work begins on Monday, June 1st and continues Mondays through Fridays through Friday, August 7th. All interns receive two days of vacation. All interns should plan to help the week of the Ah Haa School’s Benefit Art Auction on July 17. Interns are expected to work full-time, averaging 40 hours per week.
(Because of the early summer schedule this year, we do have some flexibility in dates. If you need to arrive a week later, or would like to stay for an extra week or two, we have options!)
Volunteering & Work Study
Ah Haa always needs volunteers! Come work with us helping out with a kids class, painting a wall in preparation for an exhibition, or offer whatever skills you have — we need your help! Just come by the school or call when you have a couple of hours to spare!
We don’t want anyone to miss out on a class just because they can’t afford it. Earn credit toward the Ah Haa classes you’d like to take by working at the school. The Ah Haa School offers a Workstudy program where students can earn $15 per hour credit towards class tuition in exchange for work done for the school. Depending on your skill-set, we could put you to work assisting with classes, painting, performing building maintenance or doing administrative tasks. If you are interested in the program, you can download and fill out the form below or just come by the school to fill out an application. We look forward to working with you!
Please return the completed application to Rachel Williams at the Ah Haa School (155 W. Pacific Ave., Telluride, CO).
