With the overarching goal of cultivating community, cultural connection and a sense of place, Ah Haa School for the Arts’ commitment is to foster creativity and experimentation in an atmosphere of open conversation and encouragement. Ah Haa strives to facilitate finding your spark, by offering opportunities for folks to discover, explore, and nurture their own creativity. Classes are offered in a variety of settings; group workshops, small group happenings, drop in’s, open studios, continued skill building and creative leader connections.

Registration Policies


All registration must be completed online (you will find red “Register Now” buttons below the class descriptions). If you are unable to register online, please call 970.728.3886 or email info@ahhaa.org. Please have your credit card number handy to reserve a space. Early registration is highly recommended. If you have registered for a class, please complete the following forms before the class begins: General Liability Waiver and COVID 19 Waiver

The Ah Haa tries to keep classes small; if a class size reaches its limit, subsequent applicants will be added to a wait list.

If materials are required or there are special instructions for your class, a supply list and/or detailed information will be included in your registration confirmation email.

Unless otherwise specified, all Ah Haa classes take place at the Ah Haa's new facility in the Silver Jack Building,  located at 155 W. Pacific Avenue. Bookbinding classes take place at the Stone Building at 117 North Willow Street.

Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds

Full tuition, less a $25 non-refundable processing fee, will be returned when cancellations occur 14 days or more before the class starts. No refund will be given when a cancellation is made less than 14 days before the class begins. Class transfers are subject to the same restrictions as cancellations, and a $25 administrative fee will apply. See information below regarding Private Class cancellations.

Cancellations due to COVID-19

All classes are subject to cancellation based on the latest County and State safety guidelines regarding COVID-19. Please be sure to review the Ah Haa School’s COVID-19 Safety Protocols for more information about our efforts to keep students, instructors and staff safe during the pandemic. Before registering, all students are required to read and agree to abide by these guidelines.

As always, the health, safety and the well being of our staff, students, instructors and friends is of the highest priority to us. As such, given the changing nature of the Delta variant of the Corona virus, we are now requiring everyone who participates in an Ah Haa class be vaccinated and upload a copy of their vaccination card at the time of registration. Further, masks should be worn in public spaces within the building. Thank you for your cooperation!

If the Ah Haa School is forced to cancel a workshop due to COVID-19, all students will receive a full refund. Students who cancel their registration as a result of COVID-19 exposure or infection are not guaranteed a full refund; decisions will be evaluated case by case.

Covid Vaccination 

As of August 15, 2021, every Ah Haa School for the Arts student above the age of 18 must be fully vaccinated to be eligible to participate in an Ah Haa class. Copies of vaccination cards are due upon registration.

Required General Liability Waiver and Covid 19 Liability Waiver with a link for uploading copies of vaccination cards are provided electronically, at the time of registration. Alternatively, students are welcome to email copies of their vaccination cards to info@ahhaa.org or physically bring them to the school.

For those under the age of 18, proof of vaccination is not required but mask wearing is required at all times within Ah Haa’s building.

Private Classes

Full payment is due at the time of registration. All private classes are non-refundable.


The Ah Haa School and its instructors reserve the right to cancel classes with low enrollment, but will make every effort to enroll additional students. If the minimum has not been met, registered students will be notified and refunded the entire class fee.
