Calling all backyard bird enthusiasts! Join us for a casual stroll around Telluride as we look for and learn about the birds of Colorado. We’ll learn the basics of bird identification, from the best places and times to see them to how to use a pair of binoculars and a field guide. Whether you’re an expert birder or an enthusiastic novice, this class is fun for anyone with an appreciation for our feathered friends.
Students should bring a pair of binoculars (these can be checked out from the Wilkinson Public Library, if needed), walking shoes, water, sunscreen, and proper outerwear.
Students will meet at the Ah Haa School and then walk as a group from the school. Please use the registration links below to sign up (take one, or take them all!):
