DRAWING THE LANDSCAPE
Wednesday – Thursday | 10:00am – 3:00pm | $185
August 7 – 8, 2018
(Students must bring required materials on their own.)
In this two-day workshop, students will explore the great outdoors through the fun, fast and highly portable mediums of charcoal and pencil. Artist Meredith Nemirov will help students grasp different techniques and skills to truly capture the essence of the landscape. Students will learn how to use line to communicate ideas and portray their surroundings, as well as shading and line techniques for creating depth and feeling. This class will help students develop drawing skills that can be used for illustration, fine art or recording ideas and inspiration in a journal.
Please see materials list for supplies to bring. Also, bring sunscreen, a hat, and any refreshments you desire and/or a sack lunch.
