DRAWING THE LANDSCAPE
Tuesday – Thursday | 10:00am – 2:00pm | $260
July 10 – 12, 2018
(Students must bring required materials on their own.)
In this three-day workshop, students will explore the great outdoors through the fun, fast and highly portable mediums of charcoal and pencil. Artist Meredith Nemirov will help students grasp different techniques and skills to truly capture the essence of the landscape. Students will learn how to use line to communicate ideas and portray the world around them. Through shading and line techniques students will explore different ways of creating depth and feeling in their landscape drawings. This class will help students develop drawing skills that can be used for illustration, fine art or recording the world in a journal.
Please see materials list for supplies to bring. Also bring any refreshments you desire and/or a sack lunch.
