INTRO TO ANIMATION
Thursdays | 4:00pm – 5:00pm | $200
October 29 – November 19, 2020
An Ah Haa Online class via ZOOM
This ZOOM class will teach children a few basics of being an animator. They will learn the first four basics of animation rules: Squash and Stretch, Timing and Motion, Anticipation, and Staging
The camp project will have two assignments. One will be three different weighted balls bouncing (with facial expressions if they so choose). The next will be a bipedal character’s walk cycle. These may be in pencil, but if the student wants to add color and inking they are more than welcome too so long as the colors are consistent. Students will learn the basics and come away from the class with their very own animations!
Student Material Requirements:
Light table or glass table that a lamp (or other safe light source) can fit under
Blue and/or pink colored pencil
OPTIONAL: Microns (for inking) and colored pencils
You will receive a ZOOM link and instructions for the class upon registration.
