INTERMEDIATE SILVERSMITHING: Build A Pendant

In this one-day extensive workshop, students will review the principles of soldering through building a pendant. Students will learn how to solder a bezel, add decorative wire designs, pierce metal and add a bail to the pendant. You will also learn how to polish and finish your jewelry pieces and learn different tool options that allow you to jump into this craft without investing a fortune. At the end of class students will also have the opportunity to watch a live demonstration of how to sweat solder a landscape design of a local San Juan Mountain Range.
This class is ideal for those who have taken an introduction to silversmithing class. Students should understand the basic principles of soldering and how to bezel-set a cabochon stone. Sterling silver chains will be available for purchase for $10-20 at the class
This is a Visiting Artist class, therefore cancellations must be made at least 45 days in advance in order to qualify for a refund (less a $25 administrative fee).
