A native of Ridgway, Colorado, Kane Scheidegger specializes in large-scale photographic images of the Telluride region’s natural beauty. His images, often printed on 8-foot by 4-foot canvases, depict the vibrancy of autumn, the austerity of winter and the splendor of summer in striking clarity. The richness of Scheidegger’s works and the large format of their presentation transport viewers into the forests of Telluride, the wind-carved snowcaps of the San Juans and the crisp aspen groves of autumn.
In this exhibition of his newest photographs, Scheidegger fills the Ah Haa’s Daniel Tucker gallery with a kaleidoscope of natural color. Viewers are invited to visit the show during business hours from December 4-19, to step briefly across time and space into a collection of Mother Nature’s most striking moments.
