Explore the utilitarian art of leather crafting in the this hands-on workshop. Along with gaining basic knowledge, such as ways of tanning and types of hides, students will learn how to use a rotary cutter, hand punching, different types of hand stitching, riveting and more. They will also receive an insider’s perspective on where to purchase leather, tools, and hardware. Leather craft is fun, straightforward, and handy. All students will come away with their own unique custom leather tote and some basic leather crafting skills.
CLASS LOCATION: Please note this class is being held at Crossbow Leather (which occupies a Telluride storefront at 124 E Colorado Ave). The shop is retail in the front with a leather workshop in the back.
