Chayse first realized her love for jewelry while exploring artisan markets in Latin America. While studying Spanish abroad in the high mountain desert of Mexico, she found herself enrolled in a silver design school called Sterling Quest. In Mexico, she fell in love with the creative techniques, expressions, and outlet that silversmithing provides. Upon her return to Durango, she happily discovered the Gem and Mineral Club and has been an active member ever since. You can find her artwork on Etsy, at Create Art & Tea in Durango, and at regional arts & crafts fairs. Chayse travels and creates jewelry out of a renovated 1965 Red Dale camper. She enjoys exploring our wilderness in search of the creative presence of the wild and bringing that presence into making jewelry.
