Selective Admission Policy

Classes are limited to eight or 10 participants and each student must apply to the Academy for acceptance into the program. Students are required to submit a resume and written statement about why they would like to attend the Academy. Applicants to the 2012 program must submit their statement and resume and be accepted prior to the beginning of a class. Because classes fill quickly, it is recommended to apply 60-90 days in advance. See “Registration” about the ‘rolling admission’ policy.

Acceptance

Students will be notified of their acceptance within two weeks of the Academy receiving the completed information. Students who are accepted to the program will receive a confirmation letter, general information, and a complete list of materials supplied, materials available for purchase and tools that you need to bring. Students who are not accepted will receive a full refund.
