    POLICIES & REGISTRATION

Registration, Deposit, Cancellation & More

Registration

All registration must be completed online (you will find red “Register Now” buttons below the class descriptions). If you are unable to register online, please call 970.728.3886 or email registrar@ahhaa.org. Please have your credit card number handy to reserve a space. Early registration is highly recommended. If you register for classes before the season begins, you may choose to pay only a deposit of 50% with the remainder of class fees due at least 2 weeks before the class begins.

Classes are typically from 5-15 students. The Ah Haa tries to keep classes small; if a class size reaches its limit, subsequent applicants will be added to a wait list.

If materials are required or there are special instructions for your class, a supply list and/or detailed information will be included in your registration confirmation email.

The majority of Ah Haa classes take place at the historic Depot located at 300 South Townsend Street. Bookbinding classes and several others take place at the Stone Building at 117 North Willow Street.

Deposit Policies

You may choose to pay only 50% of class fees as a deposit if you register before the season begins. The remaining 50% of class fees (for those that register early and choose the deposit option) are due two weeks before the first class of the season, and will be automatically charged to the credit card you choose.

Tuition Assistance & Work Study

Tuition assistance is available to all local and regional Telluride children and adults. For more information or to apply for assistance, please click the link above. Workstudy is available for people looking to volunteer time for part of their tuition (materials must be paid in full). Ah Haa offers $15 per hour credit toward classes for all work completed as part of the program.

Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds

Full tuition, less a $25 non-refundable processing fee, will be returned when cancellations occur 14 days or more before the class starts (with the exception of the Visiting Artist and Telluride Painting School programs). No refund will be given when a cancellation is made less than 14 days before the class begins. Payments for Visiting Artists and Telluride Painting School programs are non-refundable 45 days prior to the start of the class. Class transfers are subject to the same restrictions as cancellations, and a $25 administrative fee will apply. Please call 970.728.3886 or email registrar@ahhaa.org if you need to cancel or transfer a class.
Private Classes (Art Anytime): There is a $50 cancellation fee on private classes. No refund will be given when a cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the class begins.

The Ah Haa School and its instructors reserve the right to cancel classes with low enrollment, but will make every effort to enroll additional students. If the minimum has not been met, registered students will be notified and refunded the entire class fee.
