From just two hours to six weeks, taught by experienced teachers and well-known artists, Ah Haa has a full schedule of classes with something for everyone! Ah Haa features art classes from traditional painting and ceramics to one-of-a-kind workshops on solar plate etching and welding, we are sure to inspire you to a new level of creativity.

Our Visiting Artist Program brings renowned artists and students from around the country to Telluride, as well as our Telluride Painting School, offering intensive classes each season. ENCOURAGING STUDENTS OF ALL LEVELS TO FIND THEIR ARTISTIC VOICE
A unique program of excellence, offering instruction from and interaction with a diverse faculty of working painters, inspiring curiosity and innovation in a stimulating and supportive environment, all nestled in the phenomenal landscape of Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. While most painting schools can offer students intensive technical instruction, few also emphasize the important journey that all artists must take to discover their own unique voices, or celebrate the courage it takes to express that voice in their work. This is the ethos of the Telluride Painting School – to help students navigate the process of creating deeply meaningful and uniquely personal work through comprehensive and provocative instruction.
ART ANYTIME
A customized art experience
Art Anytime allows students of all ages to design classes during convenient times that work well with their schedules. Individuals or groups interested in a custom class are highly encouraged to contact us. Whether for one person, a group of five or a pack of 20, we can arrange an instructor to teach the medium of your choice at a time that’s convenient for you.
AMERICAN ACADEMY OF BOOKBINDING
A School of Excellence in Bookbinding Education
Founded in 1993 by Tini Miura, Einen Miura and Daniel Tucker, the American Academy of Bookbinding is an internationally known degree-oriented bookbinding school that offers book enthusiasts of all levels the opportunity to initiate and improve their skills in a generous and supportive learning environment.
CERAMICS OPEN STUDIO
Use the ceramics studio on your own time
In order to participate as an open studio member, all students are now required to complete two evenings of wheel instruction and one evening of glazing instruction. Wheel and glazing classes will be offered again this fall and winter, with designated open studio hours in between.
