Explore the mighty Colorado from mountains to desert.

From its headwaters in the Southern Rocky Mountains to its barely traceable trickle into the Gulf of California at the Mexico border, the Colorado River travels a fascinating and varied landscape. This fall and winter, Ah Haa invites young emerging artists to participate in a unique art immersion program devoted to exploring the Colorado River while learning a variety of art concepts and techniques. From drawing, painting and clay to mosaics, batik and bookmaking, participants will embark on a visually exciting journey as they travel from the mountains into the desert.

This class is offered for two age groups, 6-8 and 9+. Both age groups meet on the same day in separate classrooms. Instructors vary.
