After last year’s HUGE success we are excited to BURLESQUE all over again. This class brought women of all ages together for a fun filled journey and everyone walked away empowered, sexified and with a whole bunch of new friends. Join artistic director of SquidShow Theatre, Sasha Cucciniello, Melissa Sumpter (of Durango’s Salt Fire Circus), and our favorite cross dressing performer Sasha Golavenko as they take you on a seven-week journey into the world of burlesque. From the dance moves, to taking it all off… from the boas to the pasties students will develop their very own Burlesque character and walk away with a full routine with a set of pasties, and a burlesque portrait. At the close of the class, students will be given the opportunity to perform at BURLESQUE, a live variety show on the stage of the Sheridan Opera House, a benefit for SquidShow Theatre! (performing in benefit is not required)
