Cirque D’ Ah Haa
A Festive Extravaganza Featuring Local & International Artists

The Ah Haa School for the Arts celebrates their 20th annual art auction Friday July 20, 2012 in Telluride, CO. Cirque d’Ah Haa will feature local and international artists some of whom in attendance. This night of festivities includes live art, creative entertainment and of course a silent and live auction. Featured artists include: Eileen Benjamin, Judy Kohin, Michael Ward, Danielle DeRoberts and other standout local artists. Auction items will range from design pieces, paintings, photographs, jewelry, drawings, trips, and much more. There will be custom cruiser bikes, an unreleased Michael Ward Beatles print, locally inspired Adirondack chairs, a Cirque d’Ah Haa themed Las Vegas trip and a one of a kind hand-painted, custom electric guitar.

In its 21st year of operation, The Ah Haa School is a staple in the Telluride community. After moving into Telluride’s turn-of-the-century train depot in 2007, the school is still defining itself in its new home.  The annual auction serves as a gathering to celebrate the communities’ passion for discovering their own “Ah Haa moments”.  This is just one of the events that allows the Ah Haa to gauge the creative pulse of the community and respond to its evolving needs.

An accompanying art show will open at the school’s gallery beforehand on July 5th. Guests will be able to preview many of the auction items as well as place absentee bids. Proceeds from the event are critical to funding scholarships, adult and youth programs, supplies, equipment and instructors.
